Born and raised in Russellville, Matt Duffield is seeking the seat currently held by State Representative Joe Cloud, who is not seeking reelection.

He is the President of Big River Materials and Vice President of Duffield Gravel Company, both locally owned and operated in Russellville. Prior to joining the family business, he spent nearly two decades in the sports entertainment industry, promoting and producing events, and performing as a professional wrestler.

Long active in the Pope County Community, he is a member of the Kiwanis Club and the First Baptist Church of Pottsville. He has helped promote fundraising efforts on behalf of the Special Olympics and local law enforcement.

A 2002 graduate of Russellville High School, Duffield earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Harding University in 2006.

During his spare time Matt enjoys Razorback Football, weight lifting, music and cooking.
